Our panel is comprised of former judges and seasoned litigators with a minimum of 15 years experience in their practice area. However, their experience is in no way limited solely to their practice area. Myles been practicing law for over 40 years. He received his law degree from SUNY Buffalo. He began his law career as a trial attorney in the Law Office of Dennis Hannafey. Myles then became managing attorney for Royal Globe Insurance Company. He was successful in holding settlement days. He has served as both an appointed and neutral Arbitrator. During his legal career, he has tried dozens of cases to verdict including Labor Law, Products Liability, Wrongful Death, Security and Property Damage cases and Motor Vehicle accidents and Premises Liability.

Bill retired from the United States Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, after serving more than 23 years on active duty. Bill is a practicing attorney, a former Nassau County Traffic Court Judge, and is the former Lynbrook Village Associate Justice having served in that position for more than six years. Bill stepped down as Judge to run as a Legislator and was first elected in November 2015, re-elected in 2017, and again in 2019, to represent the 6th Legislative District which includes Lynbrook, Malverne, North Lynbrook, Valley Stream and portions of Rockville Centre, Hewlett, Franklin Square and Woodmere. Bill is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the State of North Carolina, the Federal District Courts within the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court in Washington D.C. He maintains his own law practice in Lynbrook, New York, providing a variety of legal services in the areas of civil litigation, including family and matrimonial matters, criminal, personal injury claims, real estate transactions, wills & estates, landlord/tenant disputes, contracts and business matters.
Wayne began his legal career as a Law Assistant in Supreme Court of the State of New York, Kings County. Wayne then worked as staff attorney for the Hartford Insurance company. Presently, Wayne has his own practice in Plainview Long Island. His case load includes general liability matters as well as automobile cases. Similarly, Wayne’s defense practice includes serving as outside trial counsel for Hereford Insurance Company. In addition, Wayne has experience in Arbitrating disputes for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA “)

Andrea graduated from Harper College(Binghamton University) and began her career as a Claims Service Representative. She attended Brooklyn Law School, evening division. Andrea was admitted to the Bar in 1984 and immediately began trying cases for Empire. She tried many cases for Empire and, later for Myles Elber at Royal/Sunalliance. She learned the plaintiffs side of the practice by doing their EBTs and handling court appearances. Andrea formed a partnership with Robert Rosenberg and Donna Thurston as Hill Rosenberg & Thurston LLC some twenty years ago.
Andrea is a Past President of the Metropolitan Women’s Bar Association, the Brooklyn-Manhattan Trial Counsel Association and the New York City Trial Counsel Alliance, who in 2018 awarded her the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is currently on the board on the NYCTLA and a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the Jewish Lawyers Guild, the Nathan R. Sober Kings County Inns of Court and the Colombian Lawyers Association.

Fred was admitted to practice in 1981. Presently, Fred is a partner at the firm Solomon Richman, P.C. He has extensive jury trial experience as well as non-jury trials. Fred has represents many public sector unions. He has represented parties in complex commercial transactions and residential real estate matters. Fred has been involved in many Arbitration involving complex issues including commercial matters, public sector law matters and impasse arbitration.

Ted’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law and has extensive representing closely held business entities. He has trial experience in both New York State, Second and Third Departments and in the Federal Court, Southern and Eastern Districts.

Abigail received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law. After working for insurance defense and commercial litigation firms she moved to hold the position of Principal Law Clerk to both the Hon. Herbert. Kramer and Hon. François Rivera in the Supreme Court, Kings County. In that position Abigail obtained extensive experience mediating cases and drafting decisions on substantive and procedural aspects of the law. During her time as Principal Law Clerk, Abigail was the President of the Law Secretaries Association of New York. Abigail currently serves as general counsel to several construction related enterprises. In that capacity, Abigail manages claims, contracts negotiations and neighbor license agreements. Abigail's practice currently focuses on all civil matters including litigation, property development, corporate formation and contract negotiations.

Roger is a partner in the law firm of Siegel Elber and Spirgel. Mr. Siegel received his undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1975 and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1978. Admitted to the Bar over 40 years, Mr. Siegel began his career by sitting as an arbitrator in Small Claims Court, Kings County. He continued with the Court arbitration systems as a solo arbitrator and also on court appointed panels. Mr. Siegel has a vast history of settling personal injury cases involving car accidents, trip and fall work related injuries defective products medical malpractice and premises liability/property damage.
Steven Stern is a partner at the intellectual property boutique firm of Stern & Schurin LLP. Over the course of his career, Steven has appeared as counsel in over 100 federal cases involving intellectual property disputes, including lawsuits involving patents, trademarks and copyrights, as well as insurance disputes involving advertising injury and intellectual property claims Steven is also a registered Patent Attorney (Reg. No. 50,320) and was admitted to the Patent Bar in 2002. Mr. Stern has earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU. Prior thereto, Mr. Stern graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with extensive coursework intellectual property law. Steven has been admitted to the New York State Bar since 2001 as is also admitted to practice is the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Second Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. .
Jack has been practicing law for more than 50 years. Jack served as Geico Insurance’s Attorney of record for 14 years. More recently Jack has served as a trial attorney for both plaintiff’s and defendant’s in Kings County. Jack lives in Nassau County. In his early legal career, Jack worked for Royal Globe Insurance and Geico.
